(6) When the rmware update is completed successfully, the unit restarts and LED1 lights.
(7) Press the power button to turn off the power, then unplug the power cord.
(8) Remove the USB ash drive device.
(9) Plug in the power cord and press the power button to turn on the power.
(10) While the power is On, hold down buttons "
POWER
", "
SOURCE
" and "
VOL+
" for at least 5 seconds.
All LEDs light 3 times.
(11) The rmware update nishes.
Check the new rmware version.
2.4. Displays
(1) The update begins automatically, and the LEDs light as shown below.

---Cautions on Firmware Update---
• Do not turn off the power until updating is completed.
• SOC(MTK) and HDMI updates take about 4 minutes.
• BT updates take about 30 minutes.

2. How to Update
The latest rmware can be downloaded to a USB memory for updates.
2.1. Connecting to the USB Memory
(1) Preparation
• Use a memory that supports USB2.0.
• Save the update le on a blank USB ash drive for use.
• USB format : Prepare a USB memory formatted in FAT16 or FAT32.
• Do not run the USB ash drive through a hub.
• Do not connect a computer to the USB port of this unit using a USB cable.
• Do not use an extension cable when connecting the USB ash drive unit.
• If a USB ash drive cannot be updated, replace it with a different USB ash drive and perform the
update again.
2.2. Unzipping the Downloaded File
Create a folder with the name "UPD" in the USB root.
Copy the downloaded le into the "UPD" folder.

Copy the required les. SOC(MTK), HDMI and BT updates can be carried out separately.
2.3. Starting up
(1) Press the power button to turn on the power.
• Do not connect anything to the unit.
(2) Press the "
TV
" button on the remote control and switch the source to OPTICAL.
• LEDs 1, 2 and 3 light up in white.
(3) Remove the cover of the USB port on the rear panel.
(4) Insert the USB ash drive on which the rmware has been stored and the update begins
automatically.
(5) The rmware update begins. During the update, the LEDs will display as shown below.
The rmware type is automatically detected, and LEDs 1 to 4 light up in different colors according to
the type.
