PLATTER ADJ
mode
・Turn the PARAMETERS knob, select "PLAT-
TER ADJ" from the top screen in the service
mode, then press the PARAMETERS knob to
set.
The "PLATTER ADJ" mode screen appears.
By default, the platter stop mode is set, so
"5.0% [NG]" is displayed.
Check the standard platter rotation speed,
33.33 rpm.
・When the PLAY/PAUSE ( ) button is
pressed, the platter begins to turn, and [OK] is
displayed once the speed is within the pre-
scribed range. [NG] (for "No Good") is dis-
played if the speed is not within the prescribed
range.
If [NG] is displayed, adjust VR701 on the GU-
3862 (POWER UNIT) board until [OK] is dis-
played.

PLATTER CHK
mode
・Turn the PARAMETERS knob, select "PLAT-
TER CHK" from the top screen in the service
mode, then press the PARAMETERS knob to
set.
The "PLATTER CHK" mode screen appears.
・When the PLAY/PAUSE ( ) button is
pressed, the platter begins to turn, and auto-
matic measurements are completed in about
40 seconds.
The difference with the actual rotation speed is
measured at the -70%, 0% and 100% points
for the 33.33 and 45.00 rpm speeds and dis-
played as a percentage.
(1)~(5) -4.50% ~ +4.50%
(6) -8.00% ~ +8.00% that checked.
When being other than the above-mentioned
range, adjust PLATTER ADJ mode for the
second time, after that execute PLATTER
CHK mode and verify that it is within the
range.
・Press the PLAYLIST button to return to the top
screen in the service mode.

PLATTERADJ
モード
・PARAMETERS ノブを回して、サービスモード
の TOP 画面 から PLATTER ADJ を選択し、
PARAMETERS ノブを押して確定します。
PLATTERADJ モードの画面となります。
初期値は、PLATTER 停止状態なので、-5.0％
［NG］の表示となっています。
PLATTER 回転数の基準となる 33.33rpm を
チェックします。
・PLAY/PAUSE（ ）ボタンを押すと、
PLATTER が回転を開始し、規定内の回転数で
回転している場合は、［OK］を表示します。規
定の回転数から外れている場合は、［NG］を表
示します。
［NG］を表示している場合は、GU-3862
（POWERUNIT）基板の VR701 を［OK］表示と
なるように調整します。

PLATTERCHK
モード
・PARAMETERS ノブを回して、サービスモード
の TOP 画面 から PLATTER CHK を選択し、
PARAMETERS ノブを押して確定します。
PLAMETER CHK モードの画面となります。
・PLAY/PAUSE（ ）ボタンを押すと、
PLATTER が回転を開始し、約 40 秒間で自動計
測を終了します。
計測ポイントは、33．33rpm と 45．00rpm の
-70％，0％，100％時の実際の回転数とその時
の回転誤差を％表示します。
(1) 〜 (5) -4.50% 〜 +4.50%
(6) -8.00% 〜 +8.00%
であることを確認します。
上記、範囲から外れる場合は、PLATTERADJ
モードにて、再調整後、再度 PLATTERCHK を
実行し上記範囲内となることを確認します。
・PLAYLIST を押すとサービスモードの TOP 画面
に戻ります。
