Why is the media not shown in the display even though it is connected to my Denon DN-700C?

  If your Denon Media Player doesn't show the connected media in the display, start by checking the media connection to ensure it is properly connected. Note that this unit supports USB mass-storage class flash memory and USB external storage, but does not recognize other USB drives. Also, do not connect USB devices via a USB hub. If using a USB hard disk drive, ensure it has external power supplied via an AC adapter.

  If your Denon Media Player won't play a file or doesn't recognize it, the issue might be with the media itself. To troubleshoot, try copying the file to a different media source and attempt playback again. Also, verify that the Denon Media Player supports the format of the file you're trying to play. Ensure that the target folder is stored within the first 8 levels of the media root directory, and that the number of folders does not exceed 1000.
