Why is my DeVilbiss Air Power Company 3540CWHP Pressure Washer leaking oil at the pump?
    • J
      Julie RamirezJul 29, 2025
If your DeVilbiss Air Power Company Pressure Washer is leaking oil at the pump, there are several potential causes. The oil seals might be worn, the drain plug could be loose, or the fill plug o-ring might be worn. It's also possible that the pump is overfilled or the incorrect type of oil was used. In the case of worn oil seals, it is recommended to have them replaced by an Authorized Warranty Service Center (AWSC). For a loose drain plug, simply tighten it. If the fill plug o-ring is worn, check and replace it. If the pump is overfilled, check for the correct amount of oil. Finally, if the incorrect oil was used, drain the pump and fill it with the correct amount and type of oil.

Why is there no or low pressure on my DeVilbiss Air Power Company 3540CWHP Pressure Washer when I first use it?
    • M
      Monica WeaverNov 7, 2025
If your DeVilbiss Air Power Company Pressure Washer isn't providing the expected pressure initially, several factors could be at play. First, ensure you've selected the correct nozzle. Insufficient water supply might be the issue; the water supply must be at least 5 GPM at 20 PSI. Check for any leaks in the high-pressure hose and repair them, applying thread sealing tape if needed. A clogged nozzle can also cause this, so clean it with the nozzle cleaning tool and flush out any obstructions with clean water. The water filter screen might be clogged, requiring removal and cleaning. In case of a defective E-Z start valve, consult an Authorized Warranty Service Center (AWSC). Finally, trapped air in the hose can be the culprit; turn off the engine and water supply, disconnect the water supply...
