This electric convector heater provides warmth through convection, circulating heated air throughout a room. It features a digital timer for scheduled operation and a control panel for manual adjustments. The heater is designed to be either wall-mounted or used as a freestanding unit with castor wheels, offering flexibility in placement. It incorporates a heating element, a temperature sensor, and KSD thermostats for temperature regulation and safety. A power switch allows for complete disconnection from the power supply.
The heater can be turned on by pressing the power button on the control panel after ensuring the main power switch is on. Users can select between half power (LO) and full power (HI) heating capacities using a dedicated button. The desired temperature can be set within a range of 5 to 45°C using the upward and downward adjustment buttons. The system automatically saves the temperature setting after 10 seconds of inactivity.
A 24-hour shutdown timer can be set, allowing the heater to turn off automatically after a specified duration. The timer indicator illuminates when a timer is active. The heater also includes an "Open Window Detection" feature, which automatically shuts down the unit if the ambient temperature rapidly falls by 3 degrees or more, indicating an open window and preventing energy waste.
For safety and convenience, a "Child Lock" function is available, which can be activated or deactivated by simultaneously pressing the up and down adjustment buttons for 3 seconds. An acoustic signal sounds each time a button is pressed, providing tactile feedback.
The heater is also designed for smart control via the "Smart Life" application. To connect, the heater must be plugged into the mains and its main power switch turned on. The Wi-Fi indicator on the control panel will flash, signaling readiness for connection. Users can register an account on the Smart Life app, add the "Heater" device, and enter their 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network details. The app allows users to adjust the temperature, turn the unit on/off, select heating capacity (Low or High Heat), set countdown timers, activate/deactivate the child lock, and create detailed schedules. Schedules can include specific days for repetition, notes, notifications, and whether the heater should turn on or off at the set time.
Regular cleaning is recommended to ensure trouble-free operation. Before cleaning, the heater must be unplugged from the mains supply and allowed to cool down completely. A damp (not wet) cloth rinsed in hot soapy water should be used to wipe the exterior of the heater to remove dust and dirt. A vacuum cleaner can be used to remove dust and fluff from around the air vents and grilles. It is crucial to ensure the heater is completely dry before plugging it back into the mains supply. Abrasive cleaning products should not be used.
For storage, if the heater will not be used for extended periods, it should be cleaned and stored in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging. It is important to ensure the heater has cooled down before storing it away. In case the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrical person to avoid hazards.
