Check that the magazine cam latch is holding firmly if the magazine feels loose. Replace a worn driver blade using Kit Cat # D518452 or Cat. # D518232. Also, tighten any loose nosepiece screws with an Allen wrench and make sure nails feed properly through the magazine and into the nose.

  If your DeWalt Nail Gun lacks power or feels sluggish, start by checking the air supply to ensure it's adequate. Lubricate the tool with DEWALT pneumatic tool oil. Replace any damaged or worn O-rings using Framing Nailer O-ring Repair Kit Cat # D518005. Disconnect the air supply and remove the exhaust plate from the top of the tool to clean any blockage in the exhaust port. Check the depth adjustment and reset it if it's set too shallowly. Finally, inspect the driver and replace the driver blade if damaged or worn.
