Repairs
The charger and batteries are notserviceable. There are no
serviceable parts inside the charger or batterypack.
WARNING: To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY,
repairs, maintenance and adjustment (including
brush inspection and replacement, when applicable)
should be performed by a factory service center or
an authorized service center. Always use identical
replacementparts.
1. Remove battery pack from tool and engage trigger safety
lock‑off

2. Using the hex wrench

provided, loosen the two
hex bolts

at the top of themagazine

and the hex
bolt

on the foot of thetool.
3. Lift the magazine

away from thenailer.
4. Remove jammed/bent nail, using pliers if necessary. Clear
out any debris in the nail channel ifrequired.
5. Install the magazine back into position under the nose
of the tool and tighten the two hex bolts

at the top
of themagazine

and the hex bolt

on the foot of
thetool.
6. Reinsert batterypack.
NOTE: The tool will disable itself and not reset until the
battery pack has been removed andreinserted.
7. Reinsert nails into magazine (refer to Loading theTool).
8. Release the pusher latch

9. Disengage the trigger safety lock‑off

when ready to
continuenailing.
10. If nails become jammed in the nosepiece frequently,
have the tool serviced by an authorized DeWALT
servicecenter.
