Your string trimmer is designed such that the powerhead can
separate from the string trimmer attachment by turning the
knob

This should only be done with the power switch off and the
battery pack removed. Inside the upper powerhead pole

is a mechanical coupling that will spin if the powerhead is
turned on. This coupling can cause severe injury if contacted
while the powerhead isoperating.

WARNING: Some dust contains chemicals known

or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these

during use. Under some conditions and duration
of use, noise from this product may contribute to
hearingloss.
CAUTION: When not in use, place tool on its
side on a stable surface where it will not cause a
tripping or falling hazard. Some tools with a large
battery pack will stand upright but may be easily
knockedover.
• When the appliance is stored or transported in a vehicle
it should be placed in the trunk or restrained to prevent
movement following sudden changes in speed ordirection.
• When not in use, the appliance should be stored in a dry,
well ventilated place out of reach ofchildren.
• Children should not have access to storedappliances.
