DeWALT Metal Rail Mounting (Fig. B—D)
1. Slide the power tool shelf

2. Secure the shelf assembly

using four 1/4-20 x .0750 socket head screw

Torque the hardware to 15in/lbs.

NOTE: Spacer blocks

should be located on the lower
corners of the cabinet, approximately 1" (25mm) from

5. Mount the shelf assembly to a DeWALT metal rail
so the metal rail mounting bracket

engages as
shown in Fig. D.
Wall Mounting (Fig. B, E)
1. Slide the power tool shelf

2. Locate and mark wall studs

3. Drill two 1/8" pilot holes.
NOTE: Use outside screw holes

4. Position the DWST82822 shelf assembly

wall and straighten it using a level.

Masonry/Concrete Walls
Prior to installing DWST82822 shelf assembly

surface to preventmoisture.
DO NOT attempt to install the DWST82822 shelf
assembly

using any type of masonry nail. Use #10 or
4.8mm pan or washer head masonry screws (not included).

‑ Use masonry screws (not supplied) for mounting to
masonry block or a concrete wall.
‑ Use the included #14x 3” screws

for mounting to
woodstuds.

CAUTION: Always use the correct screws for the
surface that DeWALT power tool holster will be
anchored in. Using the wrong screw will reduce the
holding force required for proper installation possibly
resulting in personal injury or property damage.
Decide how you would like to install your DWST82822 power
tool holster

before you begin.
1. DWST82822 power tool holster

can be installed on a
wood framed, masonry, or concrete wall. See Installing
onto Wall Mounting, or Masonry/Concrete Walls to
install on those surfaces.
NOTE: The DWST82822 power tool holster

may also
be installed over drywall and metal studs.

Do not hang more than 100lbs (45kg) on each
DWST82822
Do not hang more than 200lbs (90kg) on each DWST82824
when installed on
DeWALT metal rail.
Do not hang more than 500lbs (227kg) on each
DWST82824
when installed directly to wall studs, concrete or masonry.
