ENGLISH
Lubricating the Blades
For easier operation and longer blade life,
lubricate the blades BEFORE and AFTER each
use. Never lubricate the blades while the engine
is running or the blades are moving.
WARNING: To avoid serious
personal injury, always wear gloves
when handling the blade.
MAINTENANCE - Continued
Fig. 16
Maintaining the Blades
The cutting blades are made of high-quality,
hardened steel. During normal use, they will not
require resharpening unless they become
nicked by contact with hard objects, such as
wire fencing, glass, stones or bricks.
If a nick occurs and it interferes with operation:
1. Stop the unit. Wait for all moving parts to
stop. Allow the unit to cool. Disconnect the
spark plug wire to prevent the unit from
starting accidentally.
2. Use a ne-toothed le or sharpening stone
to remove the nick.
WARNING: Always wear heavy
gloves when handling or cleaning
the blades.
