  If your DeWalt Portable Generator won't start, there are several things to check: * Ensure the fuel shut-off is turned ON. * Clean or replace the air filter if it's dirty. * Make sure you have fuel in the tank, and if the fuel is stale, drain the tank and refill with fresh fuel. * Check that the spark plug wire is connected to the spark plug, and replace the spark plug if it is bad. * Drain the fuel tank and fill with fresh fuel if there is water in the fuel. * Set the choke to the no choke position if you are overchoking. * Fill the crankcase to the correct level if the oil level is low. * Replace the fuel filter if it is dirty.
