Why won't my DeWalt DXPW3228 Pressure Washer engine start?
- Sstanley98Aug 2, 2025
If your DeWalt Pressure Washer engine won't start, there are several potential reasons. First, ensure there's enough fuel by adding fuel. Check the oil level and add the required amount if it's low. If pressure builds up after a couple of pulls on the recoil starter, squeeze the gun trigger to relieve the pressure. Verify that the choke lever is in the correct position (CHOKE position for a cold engine, NO CHOKE for a hot engine). Make sure the spark plug wire is securely attached and the engine ON/OFF switch is in the ON position. Lastly, confirm that the fuel valve is in the OPEN position.
