14. As the engine warms up, move the choke to the
openposition.
15. Depress trigger on gun to start waterflow.
WARNING: Do not allow the unit to run for
more than two minutes without the gun trigger
being pulled. This could cause overheating and
damage to the pump. When the temperature
inside the pump rises too high, the thermal relief
valve will open and release a spray of water from
the pump to lower the internal temperature. The
valve will thenclose.
WARNING: Risk of unsafe operation. Stand on a
stable surface and grip gun/wand firmly with both
hands. Expect the gun to kickback whentriggered.
16. Release trigger to stop waterflow.

Shutting Down (Fig.W, X)
1. If chemicals were applied, place the chemical hose
into a container of clean water and draw clean
water through chemical injection system to rinse
systemthoroughly.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Risk of burning. When performing
maintenance, you may be exposed to hot surfaces,
water pressure or moving parts that can cause serious

plug wire, let the engine cool and release all water
pressure before performing any maintenance
or repair. The engine contains flammable fuel.
Do not smoke or work near open flames while
performingmaintenance.
CAUTION: Risk of Injury. Disconnect battery ground
[Negative (–)] Terminal beforeservicing.
To ensure efficient operation and longer life of your pressure
washer, a routine maintenance schedule should be prepared
and followed. If the pressure washer is used in unusual
conditions, such as high temperatures or dusty conditions,
more frequent maintenance checks will berequired.
Engine
Consult the engine instruction manual for the manufacturer's
recommendations for any and allmaintenance.
NOTE: The pressure washer frame is equipped with an oil
drain hole to help make changing the engine oileasier.
Pump
The pump on this unit is maintenance free and requires
no oil. If there is a problem with the pump, contact our
Customer Service Group as soon aspossible.
Battery
Charging the Battery (Fig.E, AA, BB)
To keep the battery fully charged and ready for use, connect
the battery charger to keep the battery while storing the
pressurewasher.
NOTE: The battery charger provided should only be used
with the a 12V 6.5Ah/21 WPC sealed lead acid battery
supplied with this pressurewasher.
1. Plug the battery charger

into a standard household
120V receptacle. Make sure the household power
supply is 120V, 60Hz, AConly.

. The light on the battery charger
will illuminate red while the battery ischarging.
NOTE: The battery will become slightly warm to the touch
while charging. This is normal and does not indicate a
problem. When battery is fully charged, the red light will
turngreen.
NOTE: If the light does not illuminate, the battery main‑
tainer fuse may need to be replaced. Check the fuse and
replace ifneeded.
4. When the battery is fully charged and ready to use,
connect to the pressure washer:
a. Disconnect the batterycharger.
b. Reconnect the engine start connector

Replacing the Battery (Fig.C–F)
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock or
explosion, do not short circuit the battery terminals or
charge in a sealed container. Keep sparks and flame
away. Do not use metal tools for connections and keep
metal objects away from the battery terminals. Metal
objects can make a connection from one terminal to
another. Shorting the battery terminals together can
cause sparks, burns, or afire.

‑ Disconnect the black wire from the battery’s nega‑
tive (–)terminal.
