ADJUSTING THE OVER
PRESSURISATION VALVE (OPV)
FOR FREEZING TEMPERATURES
When you have done a new installation
and have connected the water, then you
can use a small or medium at screw
driver to UNSCREW the grubscrew in the
hollow centre of the over-pressurisation
valve until the water drips out.
Then screw it BACK IN 1 full turn. This will
mean that the over-pressurisation valve
is set to the your specic water pressure
supply and in the event of the water in
the pipes freezing the valve will push out
a small amount of water and allow the
water to freeze in the geyser without
causing damage.
