from an outlet. If you smell burnt or
smoke, unplug the power cord
immediately and contact your service
representative.
LIQUIDS. Do not expose this product to
dripping or splashing, and do not place
any objects with liquid inside, such as
vases, etc. Never place in a damp
location or touch with wet or damp hands
or during a thunderstorm. If liquid enters
the decoder, disconnect it immediately
and consult a service technician.
CLEANING. Disconnect the power cord
from the outlet before cleaning the
receiver. Always use a slightly damp cloth
(no solvents, no detergents) for dusting.
VENTILATION. The slots in the receiver
should be left uncovered to allow proper
ventilation. Leave sufficient space around
the equipment to ensure proper
ventilation (10 cm each side). Do not
place the unit on carpets or the like.
The appliance heats up during operation.
This should not be interpreted as a
malfunction.
OBJECTS. Never insert objects in the
slots of the receiver. If this happens,
disconnect the decoder and consult a
technician.
