Why my Dino-Power X51L starts but won't draw paint?
- GGregory LeeAug 23, 2025
If your Dino-Power Paint Sprayer starts up but doesn't draw in paint, consider these possible causes and solutions: * The unit may not be primed or has lost prime. Replace the prime unit. * There might be no paint, or the suction tube isn't fully immersed in the paint. Ensure the suction tube is completely immersed in the paint. * The suction set filter could be clogged. Clean the filter. * The suction tube might be loose at the inlet valve. Clean the connection and tighten it. * The inlet valve could be leaking. Clean the inlet valve, ensuring the ball seat isn't nicked or worn and that the ball seats well; then reassemble the valve. * The pump packings could be worn. Replace the pump packings. * The piston rod might be worn or damaged. Clean or replace it.
