tom mounted. Both options are illustrated below.

Installation and Startup Summary
1. Connect the gateway to the DeviceNet network
2. Select a MacID for the adapter interface
3. If required, connect a PC to the gateway via null mo-
dem cable
4. Power up and (if required) configure the gateway
5. Install the EDS-file in the DeviceNet configuration
tool
