Safety Features
ROPS - Mower must be operated with roll over protection system (ROPS) properly installed and in the
up-right position.
Seatbelt - Seatbelt must be worn at all times while operating the machine.
OCDC - The operator controlled discharge chute (OCDC) must be in the fully closed position when mowing
with people or vulnerable objects present.
Parking Brake - The parking brake should be engaged whenever the mower is stopped and no operator is
on the mower.
Safety Interlock System - The mower has a system of safety interlock switches that will not allow the
mower to start unless the steering speed control levers are in the neutral lock position, the parking
brake is set and/or the seat is occupied, and the deck engaging switch (PTO) is off. If the seat is
vacated during mowing without positioning the controls as previously outlined, the engine will be
stopped by the safety interlock system.
