NOTE: Engine may be stopped at any time by
turning the ignition key to the OFF position.
1. Move the steering speed control levers to
neutral position to stop mower movement.
2. Push the deck engaging switch (PTO) down
to disengage mower deck blades.
3. Pull the parking brake lever all the way up
to set the parking brake.
4. Move the throttle to the idle position.
5. Allow the engine to idle for two minutes.
6. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position
and remove the key, even if leaving the
mower unattended for only a few minutes.
NOTE: Do not exceed a speed of 2 mph when
moving the mower without power.
In order to transport the mower without power,
you must fi rst release the hydraulic pressure by
using the bypass lever located on each transaxle.
Gain access to the bypass levers under the main
chassis, behind the rear wheels. The levers are
held in the front locking notch under spring
pressure. Move the levers toward the center of
the mower to release the lock. Pull the lever to-
ward the back of the mower and move it toward
the outside of the mower to place it in the bypass
notch, enabling the mower to be moved without
power.
