For machines with U handle
* Loosen the screws M5 X 1B and insert the drive shaft into the holder
case
(Note)
Always insert the drive shaft into the holder case fully (approx.
63mm; 2-72"). If the inner shaft resists full insertion of the drive
shaft, try to insert it again after slightly rotating the drive shaft or
the support washer on the gear case to match the inner shaft to
the hole inside the holder case.
* After making sure that fhe drive shaft is installed fully and property.
tighten the screws М5 18 to secure the drive shaft.
* Connect the throttle wire and firmly close the cable joint
* Squeeze the throttle lever to make sure that the throttle wire moves
smoothly.
* Connect the switch cords to the two cords from the engine by
inserting one into the other.
* Wrap the waist pad around the drive shaft so that the hanger (7)
will protrude through the slit in the waist pad and the throttle wire
and the cords (9) will also be wrapped under the waist pad (8)
* insert the bullet connectors (10) through the holes in the cover (11)
