The fuel tank could be empty; in this case, you should fill the tank with fuel. A loose spark plug can also prevent the engine from starting; tighten the spark plug to 25 – 30 N•m. Ensure the spark plug wire is correctly installed on the spark plug. Also, check if the spark plug gap is incorrect and set it between 0.7 to 0.8 mm. If the carburetor is flooded with fuel, remove the air cleaner element and pull the starter rope continuously until the carburetor clears itself, then reinstall the air cleaner element.
