Component Diagnostic Question Action Based On Status Page
Is the board getting wet on the
AFM series furnace?
Yes =
Check the door installation.
Replace the door if:
The flange is installed upside
down
Screws are missing
The incorrect screws were
used during installation
Wires are placed in-
between the gasket and the
door
The furnace casing is
extended past the sidewall
of the coach
Caulking exists around the
weep holes
Relocate the board

Circuit Breaker Switch
Is the switch a combination
breaker and on/off switch? If so, is
the switch on?
No = Turn the switch on --
Is the circuit breaker switch the
correct amperage for the furnace?
No = Replace the circuit breaker
switch

Is the motor over amping? Yes = Replace the fan motor aer
voltage is verified to be
between 10.5–13.5 VDC

Is there a voltage drop from the
voltage coming into the switch, as
opposed to what is coming out?
Yes =
Having volts but no amps is a
source power issue from the
coach
Replace the circuit breaker
switch aer confirming the
cause is not a power issue

Does the total square inches
of return-air opening meet the
minimum requirements?
Remove the furnace from the coach
and run it on the bench. If the circuit
breaker switch does not trip, the
issue is not related to the furnace but
to an installation issue

Inspect the circuit breaker switch.
Is there visible damage?
Yes = Replace the circuit breaker
switch
