Why is my Dometic Refrigerator not cooling?
    • B
      Brandy JacobsJul 30, 2025
Your Dometic Refrigerator might not be cooling due to several reasons. Ensure the power plug is properly inserted into the socket. Check the circuit breaker to make sure there is voltage at the socket. For absorber cooling versions, the heating cartridge may be defective, requiring a service agent to install a new one. If the auto-defrost is active or the minibar was recently switched on, no action is needed, and cooling should be checked again after 5 to 6 hours. In silent mode the minibar will not cool. Defective electronics, sensors, or a cooling unit will require contacting a service agent for replacement or repair.

What to do if my Dometic HIPRO EVOLUTION has poor cooling performance?
    • C
      Cristina HornAug 5, 2025
If your Dometic Refrigerator isn't cooling well, ensure the cooling unit has sufficient ventilation, consulting the Installation Manual for guidance. Move the minibar out of direct sunlight. Check that the door closes tightly; refer to the Installation Manual for distance checks, or contact a service agent to replace the door seal. If recently filled, allow 5 to 6 hours to check cooling again. For absorber cooling versions, verify that the input voltage is correct.

If the interior light of your Dometic Refrigerator isn't working, first, make sure the power plug is properly inserted into the socket. If it is, the interior lighting might be defective, requiring a service agent to change it. Also, check the infrared door sensor for any condensate water; if present, clean the surface of the sensor.
