3. Put the door back into place (4. and 5.).
4. Push the hinge side locks to the right (6.).
5. Fit the door lock plates onto the door lock (7.).
6. Push the door locks to the left (8.).
10.12 Preparing the refrigerator for prolonged periods of non-use
A
Use the door ventilation function of the refrigerator door and the freezer compartment door when the refrigerator
is not used for a prolonged period of time. This prevents mold from forming when the refrigerator is not in use or
put into storage.
1. Defrost the refrigerator (chapter “Defrosting the refrigerator manually” on page 34).
2. Rotate the airing catch located at the rear of door by 180° (1. in fig. m).
3. Engage the airing catch (2. in fig. m).
The doors are latched slightly opened.
NOTICE! Damage hazard
Do not use the door airing function while driving.
