REMOVAL/INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
626-001 HEATER CORE BYPASS KIT

Contents of heater core bypass kit:
• 5/8” (.625”) x 3.5” heater hose (1)
• 5/8” x 5/8” heater hose connectors (2), one installed and one loose in box
• 5/8” x 3/4” heater hose connectors (2), one installed and one loose in box
• 5/8” hose clamps (2)
BEFORE YOU BEGIN:
• Always wear proper safety equipment when performing repairs.

• Reference the appropriate service manual for your vehicle. If you do not have a service manual, and do not have the training or experience to perform
the necessary procedures correctly, seek the services of a qualied technician.
Instructions
NOTE: Vehicle must be cooled down before installation. The system is under pressure and releasing it too
soon will result in boiling uid spraying under high pressure.
STEP 1: Remove both the inlet and outlet hose from the heater core.
STEP 2: Using the appropriate barb ttings from the bypass hose kit, loop the heater core inlet
and outlet hoses.
STEP 3: Top o the coolant and purge or bleed your cooling system of air. NOTE: Check the system for leaks
after installation.
