Although there is no single volume setting that is appropriate
for everyone, you should always use the handset with the
volume set at moderate levels and avoid prolonged exposure
to high sound levels. The louder the volume, the less time
is required before your hearing could be affected. If you
experience hearing discomfort, you should stop using the unit.
To protect your hearing some experts suggest that you:
Set the volume control at a low position and then adjust the
volume to a comfortable level.
Limit the amount of time you use the handset at high volume.
Avoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings.
The advice applies to the unit, battery, AC adapter and other
accessories. If the telephone is not working as it should, please
contact the place of purchase for service. Don’t forget the receipt or a
copy of the invoice.
