IV. Starting the Engine
1. Turn the fuel Shutoff to the “ON” (OPEN) position.
2. Turn the choke lever to the “CLOSE” (CHOKE) position. If the engine is hot from
use, don’t close the choke.
3. Move throttle lever to the left a little.
4. Starting the engine – Manual Start
a. Turn the engine switch to the “ON” (START) position.
