Function Description:
The Vision 4 Lite is an action camera primarily used for recording videos and taking photos. It features a compact design and comes with a waterproof housing, allowing for underwater use. The camera can be controlled directly via its physical buttons or remotely using a smartphone or tablet through the DV KING 4K app. It supports various shooting modes, including standard video, slow motion, loop recording, time-lapse video, standard photo, auto photo, burst photo, and self-timer. The camera also includes features like Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) for smoother footage, distortion correction, and diving mode for optimized underwater recording.

Usage Features:
- Powering On/Off: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to turn on/off.
- Mode Switching: Press the Mode button to switch between video and photo modes. Press and hold the OK button to access the setting menu for more shooting modes.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity: Press and hold the Up button to turn on Wi-Fi. Connect to the "Vision 4 Lite" network on your smartphone/tablet and use the DV KING 4K app for remote control, live preview, playback, download, and settings.
- Recording Video: In Video Mode, press the Shutter button to start/stop recording.
- Taking Photos: In Photo Mode, press the Shutter button to take photos.
- Zoom Function: Use the Up or Down button to adjust the zoom level when taking photos or videos.
- Loop Recording: Allows the camera to overwrite old files with new ones when the microSD card is full, creating continuous recording.
- Time Lapse Video: Records video from frames captured at specific intervals.
- Auto Photo: Automatically takes photos at specific intervals.
- Burst Photo: Captures several photographs in quick succession, ideal for fast-moving activities.
- Self-Timer: Provides a delay between pressing the shutter release and the shutter's firing.
- Diving Mode: Compensates for the lack of red light in underwater scenes, optimized for use between 10 and 80 feet in tropical and blue water.
- Image Rotation: On/Off setting for image orientation. Default is On.
- Car Mode: When connected to a car cigarette lighter, the camera automatically turns on/off with the car ignition.
- Playback: Content can be played back on the camera, computer, TV, smartphone, or tablet. On the camera, enter Album mode by pressing and holding the OK button, then use Up/Down buttons to scroll and OK to play/stop video.
- Deleting Content: Files can be deleted directly from the camera in Album mode or remotely via the DV KING 4K app.
- Offloading Content: Files can be transferred to a computer using a card reader or downloaded to a smartphone/tablet via the DV KING 4K app. Note that 4K or 2.7K videos cannot be downloaded to iPhone/iPad via the app and require a card reader.
- Remote Control: A splashproof remote control is included with Photo and Video buttons. To pair, press any button on the remote. Press the gray Video Button to start/stop video recording (camera beeps and light flashes). Press the red Photo Button to take a photo (camera emits shutter sound).
- Mounting: The camera comes with various mounts (Handle Bar/Pole Mount, Helmet Mounts, Mounts 1-9) and accessories (wrist strap, bandages, tethers) for attaching to helmets, gear, and equipment.
Maintenance Features:
- microSD Card Formatting: It is recommended to format the microSD card regularly to maintain good condition. Reformatting erases all content, so offload files first.
- Cleaning: For best audio performance, shake the camera or blow on the mic holes to remove debris. Clean the lens with a soft, lint-free cloth; do not insert foreign objects around the lens or touch it with fingers.
- Protection: Keep the camera away from drops, bumps, high temperatures, and strong sunshine to prevent damage.
- Charging: Do NOT use the camera while charging. Turn off the camera before charging.
- Battery Storage and Handling:
- Avoid exposing the camera to very cold or hot temperatures, as this can shorten battery life or cause temporary malfunction.
- Avoid dramatic temperature or humidity changes to prevent condensation.
- Do not dry the camera or battery with external heat sources (e.g., microwave, hairdryer). Liquid damage is not covered under warranty.
- Do not store the battery with metal objects (coins, keys, necklaces) to prevent fire hazards from terminal contact.
- Do not make unauthorized alterations to the camera, as this may compromise safety, regulatory compliance, performance, and void the warranty.
- WARNING: Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred, microwave, incinerate, or paint the camera or battery. Do not insert foreign objects into the battery opening. Do not use if damaged (cracked, punctured, water-harmed). Disassembling or puncturing the battery can cause an explosion or fire.
- Remote Battery Replacement (CR2032):
- Remove 4 screws from the back cover using a 1.8mm Phillips tip screwdriver.
- Remove another 4 screws on the PCB board.
- Lift the PCB board and slide out the battery.
- Install the new battery with the "+" pole facing up.
- Install all 4 screws back onto the PCB board.
- Install all 4 screws back into the cover.
- Note: Do NOT rotate the PCB board to avoid reversing camera and video button functions.
