13. Care and maintenance
Disconnect the unit from mains sup-
ply before care and maintenance! The
water inside the pressure pot has to
be changed regularly (at least once a
week), because the lime particulates
harm the surface of the pressure pot.
Polymax 1, 3 and 5
For the cleaning of the pressure pot
open the drain tap (23) at the rear of
the unit and let the water flow out.
Remove dirt thoroughly.
Attention: Do not use scouring
agents, steel-wool or sponge
scourers.
Clean the interior pot with fresh water,
a neutral washing-up liquid and a soft
scarf or sponge. Afterwards let the
water run out. Close the drain tap (23)
and fill with fresh water. The O-ring
should be greased regularly with sili-
cone grease (35 g tube, Item-no.:
D-3350).
