IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING - When using electric appliances, basic
precautions should always be followed, including the following:
1) Read all the instructions before using appliance.
2) To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when
an appliance is used near children.
3) Only use attachments recommended or sold by the
manufacturer.
4) Do not use outdoors. FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.
5) Do not unplug by pulling on the cord. To unplug, grasp the plug,
not the cord.
6) Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or
after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in
any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical
adjustment.
7) For a portable appliance - To reduce the risk of electrical shock,
do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into
a tub or sink.
8) Always unplug any appliance when not in use, before putting on
or taking off parts, and before cleaning. Never yank a cord to
remove from the outlet.

Operating Instructions

Check electrical cord before use

Inspect the electrical cord for tears or damage before using the appliance.

Ensure inline plug is connected

Verify that the inline plug is properly connected with no silver showing.

Check reservoir and intake tube insertion

Ensure the reservoir is lifted and the intake tube is properly inserted into the motor.

Insert charcoal filter

Insert the charcoal filter into the housing with the narrow side down and black side facing front.

Fill unit and prime pump

Fill the fountain unit with water, including the bowl and filter housing, to prime the pump.

Fill reservoir and replace

Fill the reservoir with water, screw on cap, and slide it into place.

Ensure hands and cord are dry before plugging in

Make sure hands and the cord are dry before plugging the fountain into the outlet.

Set desired flow rate

Adjust the flow control knob to set the desired water stream strength.

Add water as needed; do not let level drop

Maintain water level to avoid motor burnout; use handles to lift.

Fountain Disassembly & Cleaning

Unplug, remove cover and filter

First step in cleaning: unplug, remove cover, and pull out the filter.

Remove reservoir and empty fountain

Remove the reservoir and empty all water from the fountain.

Remove and wash pre-filter

Gently pull up the pre-filter by its lip and wash with soap and water.

Remove filter housing

Push in on the sides of the housing to remove it from the fountain.

Remove motor by disconnecting inline plug

Disconnect the inline plug to remove the motor from the fountain.

Motor Maintenance

Importance of motor cleaning

Cleaning the motor is essential for fountain longevity and water cleanliness. Warranty may be voided if not cleaned.
