Care and Maintenance
RELOCATING YOUR APPLIANCE
If you wish to relocate your Refrigerator/Freezer please follow the following steps:
• Remove ALL food (place food in a cooler if necessary)
• Securely tape down ALL loose items inside the unit (including glass shelves
and /or storage bins.
• Turn the levelling screws up to the base of the unit to avoid damage
• Tape both, refrigerator and freezer doors shut
• Be sure the unit REMAINS in the upright position during transportation
TIPS TO SAVE ENERGY & REDUCE CONSUMPTION
If possible, keep your unit in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing
appliances or heating ducts, and out of direct sunlight.
Allow hot foods cool to room temperature before placing them in the refrigerator.
Overloading the unit forces the compressor to run longer. Foods that freeze too slowly
may lose quality, or spoil.
Be sure to wrap foods properly, and wipe containers dry before placing them in the unit.
This cuts down on frost build-up inside the freezer.
Organize and label food to reduce door openings and extended heat exposure by leaving
the door open when searching for foods.
Remove as many items as needed at one time, and close the door as soon as possible.
