What to do if my Dualit Blender hand blender does not turn on?
    • J
      James StevensonJul 26, 2025
If your Dualit Blender hand blender does not turn on, first ensure it is properly connected to the power supply by checking that the plug is correctly inserted into the socket and the switch is turned on. If it still doesn't turn on, the unit’s thermal fuse may have activated. To resolve this, stop, unplug the blender, allow it to cool down, and then restart it.

How to prevent splashes when using Dualit Blender?

Splashes during blending with your Dualit Blender can occur because the unit has very powerful blades and attachments which rotate very fast. To prevent this, dip the wand into the mixture before turning the power on. Also, try using a deeper bowl or jug, even when blending small mixtures. Adjust the speed by setting the speed wheel to a slower setting initially, then gradually increase the speed as you blend. Ensure that you do not exceed the MAX mark on the sides of the wand while blending.

What to do if the mixture is not blending in Dualit Blender?

If the mixture is not blending properly in your Dualit Blender, it might be due to exceeding maximum volumes. Refer to the max loadings chart and blend ingredients in smaller batches. Also, if ingredient chunks are too large, try chopping them into smaller pieces before blending again. Ensure you are using the appropriate speed for the ingredients; start with a slower speed, pulse, and gradually increase the mixer speed. The blade may be damaged, contact Dualit for further advice and spares information.

Why does my Dualit Blender body get hot?

      Russell RobinsonAug 18, 2025
If the body of your Dualit Blender gets hot, it may be because the unit has been used for an extended period. Allow the unit to fully cool down. Remember, your hand blender is designed for intermittent use due to its powerful motor. Some heat is normal, especially on hot days; however, never leave the blender to rest in direct sunlight. Ensure you store the blender in a cool, dark place.
