Problem Possible Cause Possible Solution
Unit fails to turn ON or doesn't
respond to the main control button.
Unit is not plugged in. Plug the power cord into an
electrical outlet.
Household circuit breaker/ground
fault interrupter has tripped, is
damaged, or has blown a fuse.
Reset circuit breaker/ground
fault interrupter, or replace fuse.
If you need assistance, contact a
licensed electrician. Plug the air
purifier into a different outlet.
Unit or power cord is damaged or
otherwise in need of repair.
Inspect power cord for signs of
damage. If damaged, immediately
cease usage, unplug and contact
Customer Support for
further assistance.
Airflow seems to be weak
or reduced.
The unit is set on AUTO mode and
the air quality is good, so the fan is
running on low speed.
The machine is working as
intended; enjoy the clean air.
The unit was set on LOW
speed mode.
Select a different air speed level
by touching the control button to
increase air flow/filtration power.
Air flow might be blocked by
objects, furniture, wall, toys or
anything too close
to the air intake.
Leave at least 12 in./38 cm.
of clearance around the unit
(including walls) to allow air to
pass properly through the air
intakes around the unit. Keep all
objects away from the unit.
The pre-filter may be clogged by
large particles, such as dust, hair
or lint, blocking the air flow.
Clean the pre-filter.

The HEPA filter may be saturated
by small filtered particles,
blocking the air flow.
Replace the HEPA filter.
(refer to page 16-17)
The air quality sensor may be
dirty, dusty or clogged. In these
cases the unit might keep air flow
on LOW fan speed.
Clean the air quality sensor.

Unit makes an unusual noise. The filter isn’t properly installed. Follow the proper installation
procedure. (refer to page 16-17)
The plant pot isn’t properly set
in place.
Make sure the plant pot is securely
set in place.
The unit is operating on an
uneven surface.
Make sure the air purifier is
operating on a hard, flat,
even surface.
