How to fix Duralast Battery Charger that will not turn on?
    • C
      Catherine KhanJul 26, 2025
If your Duralast Battery Charger won't turn on when properly connected, the issue might be a dead AC outlet or a poor electrical connection. Check the fuse or circuit breaker supplying the AC outlet. Also, inspect the power cord and any extension cords for loose plugs.

Why is the red light on my Duralast Battery Charger lit?
    • B
      Brittany JacksonAug 5, 2025
If the red Clamps Reversed/Bad Battery LED is lit on your Duralast Battery Charger, the battery's voltage may be too low (under 10V for a 12V battery or 5V for a 6V battery) after charging for two hours, or the charger couldn't desulfate the battery or keep it fully charged. It might also indicate the battery is overheating or has a drain. To resolve this, have the battery checked or replaced. Ensure there are no loads on the battery; if there are, remove them. If not, the battery may be faulty.

What to do if engine start does not work on Duralast Battery Charger?
    • T
      Theresa JohnstonAug 15, 2025
If the Engine Start function of your Duralast Battery Charger isn't working, it could be due to several reasons. You might be drawing more current than the Engine Start rate allows. Also, remember to wait 3 minutes between cranking attempts to prevent overheating. If the Engine Start LED is blinking, ensure you allow that rest time. Check that the charger vents aren't blocked, and if the battery is severely discharged, try using the Boost rate for 10 to 15 minutes before attempting to crank the engine.
