If your Duro Water Dispenser is delivering hard water, it might be due to several reasons. The bypass valve could be open, so ensure it is closed. The brine tank may be lacking salt; add salt and maintain the level above the water. The injector or screen might be plugged, requiring replacement. Check if enough water is flowing into the brine tank, and clean the brine line flow tank control if necessary. Hardness in the hot water tank may need repeated flushing. Inspect for leaks at the distributor tube, ensuring it's not cracked and checking the O-ring and tube pilot. An internal valve leak may necessitate replacing seals, spacers, and/or the piston.
