Why DUROMAX XP13000HX Portable Generator engine will not start?
    • P
      Paul BaldwinJul 28, 2025
There are several reasons why your DUROMAX Portable Generator's engine might not start. It could be due to the engine switch being off (set the engine switch to “run”), the fuel valve being closed (turn the fuel valve to “open”), or the choke being open (close the choke). Other potential causes include the engine being out of fuel (add fuel), old or contaminated fuel (change fuel), a dirty spark plug (clean spark plug), a broken spark plug (replace spark plug), the generator not being level (move the generator to a level surface), or low oil (add/change the oil).
