      Your DUROMAX Portable Generator might not start due to several reasons: the engine switch is off (set it to 'run'), the fuel valve is closed (turn it to 'open'), the choke is open (close it), the engine is out of fuel (add fuel), the fuel is old or contaminated (change fuel), the spark plug is dirty (clean it), the spark plug is broken (replace it), the generator is not level (move it to a level surface), or the oil is low (add/change oil).

      If your DUROMAX Portable Generator runs but provides no electrical output, check if the circuit breaker is off and turn it on. Also, a bad wiring connection could be the cause, so replace the extension cord(s). Finally, the device connected to the generator might be malfunctioning, in which case you should disconnect it.

      If your DUROMAX Portable Generator runs but can't support all connected devices, it might be overloaded. Try disconnecting one or more items to reduce the load. Alternatively, a connected device might be faulty, so disconnect any malfunctioning devices. A dirty air cleaner can also cause this issue; clean or replace the air filter.
