What to do if Durr Dental equipment suction performance is too low?
    • B
      briannixonAug 3, 2025
If you're experiencing low suction performance with your Durr Dental equipment, such as at separator devices, here's what you can do: First, check and clean the coarse filters in the system, as they may be clogged. Second, inspect the suction line for any leaks and ensure the suction system and connections are leak-tight. Finally, the turbine may be mechanically sluggish due to soiling; in this case, disassemble the unit and clean the turbine.

What to do if my Durr Dental device does not start?

If your Durr Dental device isn't starting, begin by checking the mains supply voltage. If the voltage is too low (undervoltage), measure the supply voltage and consult an electrician if needed. Also, verify that the motor protection switch isn't set too low; measure the current and adjust the switch to the measured value plus a safety margin. Check the motor protection switch itself and replace it if it's defective. Lastly, measure the capacitance of the capacitor and replace it if necessary.

How to fix a Durr Dental turbine blocked by solid particles?
    • O
      ofrancisAug 23, 2025
If your Durr Dental turbine is blocked, it might be due to solid particles in the turbine chamber, foam caused by incorrect cleaning agents, or condensate build-up. To resolve this, disassemble the unit and clean the turbine. If foam is present, clean both the turbine and housing. Also, inspect the pipe system to prevent over-cooling and avoid condensate build-up in the exhaust air line.
