Why is my Dyna-Glo Signature not generating enough heat?
    • P
      Paul VargasAug 20, 2025
Your Dyna-Glo Grill might not be generating enough heat for several reasons. Ensure you pre-heat the grill for 15-20 minutes and that the temperature is set high enough. Make sure the lid is closed during cooking. Use an extension cord rated for outdoor use at 15 amps if needed. Add pellets if the pellet hopper is empty. If the auger is jammed, remove internal cooking components, turn the unit on, set the temperature dial to 'SMOKE' and visually inspect the auger inside the fire pot and inside the pellet hopper. If the auger does not turn, contact Customer Service for additional support.

    • S
      Suzanne HebertAug 22, 2025
If your Dyna-Glo Grill won't turn on, first, ensure it's plugged into a working power source and reset the outlet breaker. Make sure the GFCI outlet can handle a 10 Amp load. Also, check that all wire connections are firmly connected and free of moisture. If the fuse is blown on the control board, your appliance is equipped with a spare fuse. Contact Customer Service for step by step instructions for replacement.

What to do if my Dyna-Glo Signature Grill circuit breaker trips or fuse blows?
    • J
      Jasmine PierceAug 30, 2025
If the circuit breaker trips or the fuse blows on your Dyna-Glo Grill, try these steps: First, ensure that the grill is not plugged into the same circuit as another appliance; use a separate circuit. Second, keep all connections dry and free from moisture, and avoid using the grill in the rain or when snow is falling. Third, turn off and unplug the unit to check the cord for any damage, replacing it if needed. Finally, a damaged electrical connection may be the problem and the controller should be replaced.

What causes flare-ups on a Dyna-Glo Signature Grill and how to prevent them?
    • S
      shannon33Sep 2, 2025
Flare-ups on your Dyna-Glo Grill can be caused by meat containing excessive amounts of fat; trim the fat before cooking. They can also occur if the cooking temperature is too high; lower the temperature as needed. Grease build-up can also lead to flare-ups; clean the grease tray according to the instructions.

What to do if temperature is flashing on Dyna-Glo Signature Grill control panel display?
    • S
      scottbryanSep 4, 2025
If the temperature is flashing on your Dyna-Glo Grill control panel display, the appliance temperature has likely fallen below 120F. This means the fire pot fire is at risk of going out. If the temperature is not rising above 120F, check the hopper for any obstructions. Check the fire pot for ash build up and follow the Care and Maintenance instructions for safely removing ash. Check the internal temperature gauge/probe and follow the Care and Maintenance instructions for cleaning. Ensure that air is flowing through the fire pot and follow the Cooking System Check if air flow is weak. Confirm that the auger is rotating and there is no blockage in the auger tube. Avoid opening the lid on a frequent basis.

What should I do about a persistent grease fire in my Dyna-Glo Signature Grill?
    • M
      Michelle HillSep 6, 2025
If you have a persistent grease fire in your Dyna-Glo Grill due to too much build-up on the grease drip tray, turn the dial to 'Shut Down Cycle' and keep the lid closed to allow the fire to burn out. Do not use water to extinguish the fire, as personal injury may result. Allow the appliance to completely cool before cleaning the grease tray.

Why does my Dyna-Glo Signature circuit breaker trip or fuse blow?
    • M
      Marcia BensonSep 8, 2025
Your Dyna-Glo Grill's circuit breaker might be tripping or the fuse might be blowing because another appliance is plugged into the same circuit. Too many appliances use the same circuit. Moisture in the controller, cord, or outlet connections, a damaged cord, or a damaged electrical connection can also cause this. Try using a separate circuit, keep all connections dry, and check the cord for damage, replacing it if necessary. You might need to replace the controller.
