What to do if my Dyna-Glo Grill burner will not light with a match?
    • F
      francisco16Jul 25, 2025
If the burner on your Dyna-Glo Grill won't light with a match, there are several potential causes. Ensure the match reaches the burners by using the match holder found in the cabinet door. Check the fuel level and replace if necessary. Also, examine the connection between the valve regulator and LP cylinder coupling, ensuring it is properly connected. Disconnect and reconnect if needed. Finally, the burner inlet may be blocked, so clean the burner inlet (venturi) and burner as described by the Care and Maintenance section in the manual.

Why Dyna-Glo DGP397CNP-D has no gas flow or an obstructed gas flow?
    • D
      Daniel LoganAug 2, 2025
If your Dyna-Glo Grill experiences no gas flow or an obstructed gas flow, several factors could be responsible. First, ensure the tank valve is fully opened by turning it counterclockwise. Next, check the fuel level and replace the fuel if necessary. Also, a poor connection between the valve regulator and LP cylinder coupling can cause this issue; turn off grill knobs, close the LP cylinder valve, and check/reconnect the connection if needed. Finally, a blocked burner inlet could be the culprit; clean the burner inlet (venturi) and burner as described in the Care and Maintenance section of the manual.

How to fix a Dyna-Glo DGP397CNP-D Grill burner that won't light with the ignitor?
    • M
      Michael CallahanAug 9, 2025
If the burner on your Dyna-Glo Grill won't light using the ignitor, it could be due to a few reasons: the igniter electrode may be covered with grease or residue (clean the ignitor electrode); the igniter electrode may have a loose or disconnected wire (check the connection and reconnect any loose or disconnected wires); or the ignition electrode may be cracked or broken (replace ignition electrode, see Replacement Parts List).

Why is my Dyna-Glo DGP397CNP-D having excessive flare ups?
    • T
      Tara AdamsAug 17, 2025
Excessive flare-ups in your Dyna-Glo Grill can occur due to several reasons: a build-up of grease or residue on the heat tents or in the firebox (clean the grill components); excessive dripping of fat or marinade from food (trim the fat from meat and use non-oil based marinades); or the cooking temperature being too high (lower temperature accordingly).
