      If the burner on your Dyna-Glo Grill won't light with a match, consider the following: 1. Ensure the match reaches the burners by using the match holder found in the cabinet door. 2. Check that the natural gas supply shut-off valve is open. 3. Inspect the connection between the gas hose plug fitting and sleeve coupling. Turn off the grill knobs, close the gas supply shut-off valve, and disconnect and reconnect if necessary. 4. Clean the burner inlet (venturi) and burner as described in the Care and Maintenance section of the manual.

      If the burner on your Dyna-Glo Grill won't light using the ignitor, it could be due to: 1. The igniter electrode being covered with grease or residue. Clean the ignitor electrode. 2. The igniter electrode having a loose or disconnected wire. Check the connection and reconnect any loose or disconnected wires. 3. A cracked or broken ignition electrode. Replace the ignition electrode (see Replacement Parts List).

      Excessive flare-ups on your Dyna-Glo Grill can occur due to: * Grease and/or residue buildup on heat tents or in the firebox. Clean the grill components to resolve this. * Excessive dripping of fat or marinade from food. Trim the fat from meat and use non-oil based marinades. * Cooking temperature being too high. Lower the temperature accordingly.
