The Fahora P5 E-Bike is an electric bicycle designed for recreational use, offering a blend of power, range, and practical features for urban and outdoor environments. It is important to read the entire manual before assembling and riding the e-bike for the first time. Before unboxing, check for shipping damages and document them with photos. Assistance from a friend is recommended during unboxing to prevent injury or damage to the bike. The serial number, located on the right side of the head tube, should be photographed and backed up as it is required for warranty, insurance, lost & found, and reporting a stolen bike.

Usage Features:
The Fahora P5 E-Bike is equipped with a comprehensive display and control system. The display shows essential information such as battery level, total mileage (ODO), trip mileage (TRIP), maximum speed (MAX), average speed (AVG), current speed, and a "Walk" mode indicator. It also features an error code display and a headlight indicator. The control system includes a head combination switch with a plus button, minus button, power button, info-switch button, and headlight button, along with a throttle and shifter.
- Power On/Off: Long press the power button to start working and power the controller. In the boot state, long press the button to turn off the power supply.
- Power Gear Adjustment: Short press the plus button to switch the electric vehicle power gear and change the output power of the motor. Press and hold for three seconds to turn on the high beam.
- Constant Speed Mode: Long press the minus button to activate a power implementation state where the bike travels at a constant speed of 3km/h. The screen display will also work. Releasing the button immediately returns to the booster state.
- Display Information Switch: Short press the info-switch button to toggle between total mileage (km), single mileage (km), maximum speed (km/h), and average speed (km/h).
- Headlight Control: Press the headlight button to turn on the near-light lamp and press it again to turn it off.
- Automatic Shutdown: In the factory default setting, if the electric vehicle is not used for more than 10 minutes, the instrument will automatically shut down.
- Brake Adjustment: The hydraulic brake has a built-in screw to adjust the grip distance.
- Shock Absorber: The shock absorber can be locked/activated by twisting a knob. Air shock absorbers cannot be adjusted by twisting the knob.
- Riding Posture: Adjust the sitting position, slowly press the accelerator at speed gear, and pedal after balancing.
- Gear Shifting: The shifter allows for 1 to 7 gears.
- Braking: Release the throttle to slow down. Emergency braking requires a quick press of the brake lever. Warning: Quick braking may lead to insufficient control.
- Turning: When turning, lean your center of gravity slightly and slowly turn the handle.
- Parking: After cycling, park the bike on a flat road, long press to turn off the power, and drop the foot support to prevent slipping or falling.
- Battery Removal: Insert the key into the battery box lock, turn it to the left, move the battery cover in the indicated direction, hold the button marked "PUSH," hold the battery box handle, and pull the battery outward.
- Charging: The e-bike offers two charging methods: whole vehicle charging and external charging.
- Whole Vehicle Charging: Find the charging port above the rear shock absorber, open the rubber plug, connect the output end of the charger, then connect the power supply. Fasten the rubber plug after charging.
- External Charging: Take out the battery, open the rubber plug of the charging port, connect the output end of the charger to the charging port of the body, then turn on the power supply. Fasten the rubber plug after charging.
- Charging Precautions: Charge with the power off using the original charger. Do not charge if the charging port, power socket, or charging line is wet, or if the vehicle is flooded. Stop charging immediately if the indicator light is abnormal or if there is an abnormal smell. Keep the charger away from inflammables and explosives and out of reach of children. Disconnect power immediately after charging and do not leave the charger connected to the power supply for long periods when not charging. Regularly check the charger wire, plug, shell, and other parts for damage.
Maintenance Features:
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of the Fahora P5 E-Bike.
- Cleaning: Wipe the main frame with a soft damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a professional cleaner. Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive/volatile solvents. Do not use pressure water guns or hose sprays for flushing. During cleaning, ensure the e-bike is turned off, the charging cable is unplugged, and the rubber cover of the charging port is fastened to prevent electric shock or internal water damage.
- Storage: Store the e-bike in a dry and cool place indoors, avoiding prolonged outdoor storage. Sun exposure, hot/cold outdoor conditions accelerate aging of appearance, tires, and reduce battery pack service life. Fully charge the electric bicycle before storing, and if not used for a long time, charge it regularly to prevent battery discharge. Do not store in dusty environments or with chemicals, acids, or alkalis. Keep away from fire sources.
- Battery Maintenance: A fully charged battery will use up its stored power in 120-180 days when turned off. If not used for a long time, charge it every 30-60 days. Charge the battery after each drive. A completely depleted battery may cause permanent damage. Damage due to overcharging or undercharging is not covered under warranty. Do not remove or disassemble the battery, use other types/brands of battery packs, touch battery contacts, open or puncture the case, or throw the battery pack into fire. Dispose of used batteries properly through professional departments.
- Charger Maintenance: Use chargers exclusively for vehicles. Confirm connected power is 110V-220V AC. Do not use damaged lines or loose connectors. Charge in a safe place, away from rain and sun exposure. Insert the vehicle's charging port first, then the charger's power plug.
- Brake Cable Adjustment: If the brake cable is loose or not sensitive, the brake cable screw can be adjusted.
- Tire Repair: Tire repairs should be performed by professional service personnel.
- Self-Maintenance Schedule:
- First maintenance: 1000 km or 3 months after delivery (whichever comes first).
- Subsequent maintenance: Every 2000 km or 6 months (whichever comes first).
- Specific Maintenance Items:
- Adjust or replace front and rear brakes: A (Adjust) or A/R (Adjust/Replace) at 3, 9, 15, 21, 27, 33 months / 1000, 3000, 5000, 7000, 9000, 9000 km.
- Check handlebar steering: C (Check) at all intervals.
- Check tire pressure: C (Check) at all intervals.
