STARTING:
Make sure the wheel frame is raised before you start
the tiller. To raise the frame, pull the locking pin; rotate
the wheel frame upwards to horizontal level; align the
lock pin with the hole on the wheel frame to lock in
position.
To lower wheel frame, pull the release button and rotate
the wheel frame downwards. Lower the wheel frame
and align the lock pin with the hole on the wheel frame
to lock in position.
INSTALL THE BATTERY
Raise the battery compartment cover and slide the (2)
battery packs down until they click to lock them into
position. Then close the battery compartment cover.

OPERATING
Move the tiller/cultivator to the work area prior to
starting the motor.
Hold the tiller/cultivator firmly while starting. The tines
will pull the tiller/cultivator forward during operation.
Lower the tines slowly into the ground being tilled.
To start the tiller/cultivator, insert the switch key (A)
into the slot on the switch box. (Fig. 6)
Align the key groove with the guide in the key hole.
Press firmly until key is fully inserted. Do not attempt to
turn the key. (Fig. 6)
Push the safety lock button on the switch box (B) and
hold to allow activation of the switch lever (C). Pull the
switch lever toward the handle and release the switch
button. Continue to hold the switch lever against the
tiller handle as you cultivate.
To stop the tiller/cultivator simply release the switch
lever. (Fig. 6)

Security Key
WARNING: This appliance is equipped with a
safety key. This is a safety device and the tiller work
not work without it.
 Before installing the safety key, make sure the
battery is installed correctly.
 Insert the safety key into the hole of the switch
box.
NOTE: The security is only applicable to one
direction.
 To remove it, hold the safety key and pull it
outward.
IMPORTANT: To avoid accidental starting
always remove the security key. Remove battery
pack before carrying out any adjustment or
maintenance on the appliance.
