INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Have you read the important tips and seen the assembly
videos on our website? It is recommended to read the entire
installation instructions before you start (page 36–38).
1. INSTALLATION
Take out the enclosed keys and put them in your pocket
before installing the lock. This is a safety feature in case
you forget to insert the battery when you have finished
installing and then close the door.
Once you have disassembled the existing lock case etc.
insert the new one that is enclosed in the box. Please
make sure that the trap and the release on the lock
case point in the right direction in relation to the door
being hinged, read point 1 on page 35. Secure the lock
case with the same screws that held the old lock case
in place. Then install the enclosed end piece in the frame.
A 2 mm extension bracket is also included, which must be used if the distance
between the lock case and the bolt becomes too large, so that the lock box’s hook
bolt does not automatically fold out when the door is closed.
2. EXTERNAL UNIT
Place the supplied rubber gasket on the outside back
of the lock. There is a difference in the gaskets so be
sure to use the correct one with only one lip to cover
the outside of the lock. The second gasket has two lips
that will cover both the lock and the inner bracket.
Thread the cord through the top hole of the door and
the square pin through the bottom.
NOTE! The arrow on the square stick MUST point up and
the red mark MUST be up towards the top of the lock,
otherwise the lock will not work!
NOTE! Use the supplied insulation when installing the lock on the front door.
Distribute the insulation up and down to prevent cold bridges.
