The 600 Ampere Deadbreak Junction is designed to
be operated in accordance with normal safe operating
procedures. These instructions are not intended to
supersede or replace existing safety and operation
procedures.
The junction should be installed and serviced only by

(Be sure that the junction’s exernal conducting shield
surface is connected to the system ground.)

1. Remove the protective shipping caps.
2. Clean and lubricate the interfaces of the deadbreak
junction and mating apparatus.
3. Use lubricant (supplied) or Eaton-approved equivalent.
Assemble
1. Install the cleaned and lubricated mating apparatus per
instructions provided with the product.
2. All interfaces must be covered with the mating
apparatus.
