INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAINTENANCE
AND STORAGE OF THE EAB
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE EAB MAINTENANCE
To clean the EAB, use a so, damp cloth on the non-electrical components.
If needed, a clear, low-pressure water jet can be used to clean the non-elec-
trical components that are more dicult to access and/or are dirtier. To pro-
tect the internal wiring and the electrical components, do not use a pressure
machine. For the electrical components, use a so, dry cloth.
Never use corrosive or flammable chemical solvent to clean your EAB, for exa-
mple, but without limitation, alcohol, gas, paran or acetone.
The EAB user must regularly, including before hitting the road, carry out EAB
components and parts checks to ensure that they are operable and in good
condition. Please read carefully the list of inspection and adjustments to
carry out included in the section “BEFORE HITTING THE ROAD of the Owner’s
Manual.
In the event that components and/or parts of the EAB require adjustments
and/or show signs of premature wear, the EAB user must make the required
repairs and, if needed, must consult a specialized electric bike center.
The EAB user must have the EAB periodically checked by a specialized elec-
tric bike center for its general maintenance and for the detection of stress
and/or potential failure including, but not limited to the generality of the fo-
regoing, cracks, deformation, corrosion, peeling paint, dent and any other
indication of potential problems, misuse or abuse.
Failure to comply with the instructions for the EAB maintenance set out in
the Owner’s Manual can lead to the malfunction, breakage and/or premature
wear of the components and/or the parts of the EAB, which can cause pro-
perty damages, cause injury to the EAB user and/or to a third party, and/or
cause the death of the EAB user and/or of a third party.
Failure to comply with the instructions for the EAB maintenance set out in the
Owner’s Manual voids EBGO limited warranty.
