Why does my Echo Chainsaw engine run, then die or accelerate poorly?

If your Echo Chainsaw engine runs, but then dies or accelerates poorly, several factors could be the cause. A dirty air filter, fuel filter, or a plugged fuel vent can be the issue; in these cases, cleaning or replacing the filter or cleaning the vent is recommended. Additionally, a dirty spark plug may be the culprit, so cleaning, adjusting, or replacing it could solve the problem. A plugged cooling system or exhaust port/silencer might also cause these symptoms, and cleaning these components is advised. For carburettor issues, it's best to ask your ECHO dealer.
