MAINTENANCE AND CARE
CARBURETOR
• Do not adiusi carburetor ur>le$$ necessary.
• To adjust the caiburetor, proceed as follows:
- Low speed r^eedle: <L) 11/8 13/8
High speed needle: <H) 1/8*^ 3/8
Screw t\y the needles until hgnuv seated and return
indicated turn above
ICAUTIONI
Always open high speed needle MORE THAN 1/8 turn.
AIR FILTER
• Check before every use.
• Loosen thumb bolt, and remove air cleaner cover and
filter.
• Brush off dusts lightly, or wash it in gasoline if necessary.
Dry it completely before installation.
At cleaner
FUEL STRAINER
Check p(>riodicahy.
Do not allow dust to eniei into fuel tank.
> Clogged strainer will cause difficulty in staitir^q engine
or abnormalities in eirgine performances.
Pick up the fuel stramei thioiiqh fuel inlet poM wnh a
piece of steel wiie oi the like.
When the strainei is dnry. wash it in gasoline. Diy ii
compleiely lo remove moisiufe.
When the mside of the fuel tank duty, h can lie cleaned
by rinsmg the tank out with gasoline
