What to do if my Echo Blower engine cranks but doesn't start?
- CchristinemyersJul 26, 2025
If your Echo Blower engine cranks but either starts hard or doesn't start at all, several factors could be at play. It might be due to a lack of fuel at the carburetor, in which case you should clean or replace the carburetor. Alternatively, the muffler might be wet with fuel, indicating a need to open the choke, clean or replace the air filter, or adjust the carburetor. If there's no spark, ensure the switch is in the ON position. Finally, check the spark plug for proper adjustment to .65mm (0.026 in.), and clean or replace it if it's covered with carbon, fouled with fuel, or defective.
