It could be due to no fuel reaching the carburetor, in which case you should clean or replace the necessary components. Alternatively, the issue might stem from the muffler being wet with fuel, which can be resolved by opening the choke, cleaning or replacing the air filter, or adjusting the carburetor. Another potential cause is the absence of a spark, which can be addressed by turning the switch to the 'ON' position or adjusting the spark plug to .65mm (0.026 in.) and cleaning or replacing it.

Excessive dirt or debris can be another factor, so clean the engine thoroughly. Finally, check if the screen is cracked, plugged, or perforated, and replace it if necessary.
